JOBURG MAYOR MORERO LEADS U20 DIALOGUE

Johannesburg mayor Sello Dada Morero officially opened the three-day Urban 20 (U20) Summit, a global diplomatic initiative co-convened by C40 Cities and United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) convened to focus issues such as climate action, sustainable development, inclusive growth.

Held in Sandton and ending on Sunday, the event is under joint chairship of the cities of Johannesburg and Tshwane and is part of the G20 2025 Presidency held by South Africa, representing the very first time the G20 is held in Africa in its over 25 years of existence. PHOTOS: Sipho Maluka
