SOLIDARITY: A group of pastors aligned to God’s Church Must Rise led by Archbishop Bheki Ngcobo (purple shirt), and protesting against controversial amendments to the Promotion of Equality and Prevention of Unfair Discrimination Act, yesterday joined up with protestors   calling for justice for 38 Phoenix massacre victims to express common outrage over the vigilante killings. The march ended with the delivery of a petition to the mayor Mxolisi Kaunda’s office in the coastal city

GRIEVANCE: Durban mayoral aide Reggie Cele receives a petition from marchers who were demonstrating against the killing of blacks by Indian vigilantes during the recent protests in support of the demand for former president Jacob Zuma to be released from prison.

FURY: The recent Phoenix massacre yesterday had a sequel  in the Verulam Magistrate’s Court, where 12 suspects appeared briefly in connection with a variety of charges – including murder, attempted murder, possession of unlicensed weapon and ammunition.
