A bevy of beautiful 25 Mrs South Africa finalists to compete for the coveted crown for 2022, were announced at a glittering Ball event held at the Emperor’s Palace Hotel in Johannesburg on Friday.
Comprising some of the most beautiful married women in the country, the event is a spectacle. Whoever wins, this is going to be a life-changing experience. The pageant is also an opportunity to realise a long-cherished dream of going after a crown. The finalists are beautiful, talented and inspirational, according to the organisers. The pageant offers self-discovery programmes whose aim is to celebrate and further develop the skills of these strong and confident female leaders.
With exciting, yet nerve-racking moments ahead, Mrs South Africa finalists have their work cut out for them. A debutante who exudes the most charm, confidence and personality that can weather any storm, impress the judges, shouldn’t have a problem strolling to the sunset with the most coveted crown.

Handing over the crown to the next Mrs South Africa will be 2021 incumber, Thenjiwe Mdluli, 32, years old, from Edenvale, Johannesburg, who impressed the judges to scoop the prize.
Mdluli, a mother of two, is a strong businesswoman who is passionate about wellness and nutrition. Her dream was to change the thinking around nutrition and eradicate the scourge of lifestyle disease prevalent among low-income communities. Her qualifications included a BCom degree in Risk Management from Unisa and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Wits Business school.
