By Gugu Sibiya

Excitement is at fever pitch now that the deadline for applications of ACT (Arts & Culture Trust) Nyoloha Scholarship Programme has been extended to June 10.

Starry-eyed young people with a burning desire to pursue studies in the arts, but are frustrated by lack of funds to access tertiary qualifications in this field, will be thrilled to learn about the ACT Nyoloha bursary opportunity.

Geared towards matriculants, visual artists and performers between the ages of 17-25, the scholarship is open to wannabes in possession of a university exemption under their belts.

For this once in a lifetime opportunity, serious art lovers need to go after ACT Nyoloha Scholarship Programme’s Road to Sun City. It’s supported by the holiday Mecca Sun City, Nedbank Arts Affinity and Sun International. If this is your gig, then you’ll make it happen by shelling out a registration fee of R100. Through ACT Nyoloha, doors to one of the 20 arts institutions across the country with a fully paid scholarship may be opened to one ambitious youngster.
