As part of celebrating Heritage Day, the Dr AB Xuma Local Municipality held a Cultural Festival at the Indoor Sports Centre today. Dressed in colourful traditional attires, locals graced the event with pride in large numbers. The day was marked with traditional dance and music provided by local traditional bands while the locals enjoyed a feast of traditional dishes such as umngqusho (samp), amasi (sour milk) and umqombothi (traditional beer).
