From humble beginnings, 100-percent, black-owned Zamani Chemicals has been experiencing steady growth – notwithstanding a series of challenges – in the chemical industry since inception back in 2002.
Through sheer hard work, dedication and commitment, Zamani has been able to overcome adversity to create a beacon of hope for its employees and shareholders – thanks to the visionary leadership and resilience of its CEO Dudu Sithole, (pictured) who recently cut the ribbon to herald the company’s acquisition of two silos at their premises in Ekurhuleni.
For Zamani Chemicals, it has been a long road to arrive at this milestone, having started with only one customer, one machine and five employees. Today, more than two decades later, the firm has 20 clients on its books, 13 machines and over 40 employees.
Through partnerships, what was once the late founder and managing director Louis Gilbert Sithole’s vision, to build the company into an agile entity through automation, has now become a reality.
