After 15 years of existence, operating under the tagline “The epitome of fine dining in Gauteng”, Sandton’s Signature Restaurant has truly stood the test of trying times, including surviving the Covid-19 spell of lockdowns, which saw many businesses crash in its wake. Such resilience is thanks to owner and serial restaurateur Desmond Mabuza, whose acumen has undoubtedly established his brand as an epitome of culinary excellence. This is also the first year of his Durban operation situated at Umhlanga Oceana Mall, which coincides with the launch of Signature’s fine wine range in Sandton yesterday. The range consists of White and Red Blend 2020 – the white driven by Chenin Blanc and red dominated by Syrah. PHOTOS: Sipho Maluka
