Ten wineries from the Elgin Wine Valley, a premier cool-climate wine region in South Africa’s Western Cape, hosted a private wine tasting at Joburg’s Sandton Sun for restaurateurs, sommeliers, media and hoteliers. The valley is known for its high-altitude vineyards, unique microclimate and cool sea breezes, and diverse grape varieties, particularly Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Noir.
