EASTERN CAPE multi-award-winning gospel powerhouse, Betusile Mcinga, is back to uplift the nation with the highly anticipated release of his latest single Uyesu Uyandibiza (Jesus is Calling Me).
Released today on all major streaming digital platforms, the single follows the massive success of his previous hits that became anthems in households across Southern Africa.
Speaking to Weekly SA Mirror this week, the dreadlocked muso revealed that he was continuing his mission of spiritual restoration through the song.
Uyesu Uyandibiza is a masterclass in contemporary gospel, blending traditional Xhosa worship elements with a modern, emotive production that speaks directly to the soul, he says.
“This song is more than just a melody; it is an invitation. In a world full of noise, there is a still, a small voice calling us back to our purpose and to the grace of the Creator. I hope this track provides a sanctuary for listeners to reconnect with their faith,” Betusile says, adding that the single arrives at a time when many are seeking direction and spiritual grounding.
Betusile, who is the son of legendary gospel artist Lusanda Mcinga, says he hopes the song will serve as a poignant reminder of the divine calling on every individual’s life.
Known for his infectious energy and deep-rooted spirituality, Betusile has over the years garnered numerous accolades including SAMA and METRO FM Awards nominations.
He remains one of the most booked and beloved gospel artists in the country. The soft-spoken musician says his fans can stream or download the track on Apple Music and iTunes, Spotify, YouTube Music, Deezer and Tidal.
