Louis Vuitton is heading into the English countryside for its latest men’s capsule collection, combining the polish of luxury dressing with the practicality of clothing designed for unpredictable outdoor conditions.

Created under Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams, the Fall 2027 Capsule Collection draws inspiration from an open-air picnic in rural Britain. The range is scheduled to launch in late September 2026 as an early introduction to the fashion house’s broader Spring-Summer 2027 collection.

Pharrell Williams brings together the polish of the modern dandy and the practical demands of an unpredictable countryside escape…

The capsule imagines an elegant weekend escape from the city, complete with changing skies, damp foliage, forest landscapes, camping equipment and a carefully prepared picnic packed inside a classic Louis Vuitton Monogram trunk.

At the centre of the collection is the meeting of refinement and utility — a recurring feature of Williams’s interpretation of the modern dandy.

Tailored clothing, workwear silhouettes and technical fabrics are brought together in pieces intended to move easily between business, leisure and outdoor adventure.

The colour palette reflects the natural surroundings that inspired the range. Pale sky blue, green foliage, deep forest shades and the muted tones of camping equipment appear alongside leather, gingham and porcelain-inspired details.

Louis Vuitton’s signature Monogram is presented in several understated forms. In some pieces, it has been deliberately aged to resemble the gradual wear of a favourite jacket.

Elsewhere, it appears as a miniature Nanogram on silk linings, a tone-on-tone jacquard, an embossed detail or a woven pattern recalling a traditional picnic tablecloth.

Countryside scenes are also transformed into intricate prints and patterns. Illustrations depict wildflower bouquets, champagne on ice and moments of leisure in protected natural surroundings.

Double-face wool and quilted cotton reinterpret the house’s Damier Check as the patchwork of a warm outdoor blanket. An oil pastel-style Highland landscape, incorporating subtle Monogram markings, appears across mohair and leather pieces.

Designed for autumn and early spring layering, the capsule includes sharp flannel garments, padded nylon liners, structured knitwear, fur pieces and heavy wool overcoats. Louis Vuitton says the pieces have been conceived to complement its formal menswear while offering a wardrobe suited to less predictable environments.

Adaptability is one of the range’s defining features. A leather zip-up hoodie and lightweight suede overshirt can be worn separately or layered as outerwear.

Dark Japanese denim shirts, finished with embroidery and pearl buttons, are paired with hooded blousons and carpenter trousers to create flexible workwear combinations.

Tailored chinos feature buttoned turn-up cuffs or streamlined cargo pockets, while a wool, cashmere and silk workwear jacket can be reversed. One side carries the Monogram Heritage pattern, while the other is more restrained, displaying a single emblem on the breast pocket.

Reversible bomber jackets are offered in cotton-wool knit and nylon with printed fleece. A mink gilet, meanwhile, updates the familiar Damier Check through a gradient intarsia design.

The picnic theme continues across the collection’s accessories. The Monogram Highlands line features pastel, crayon-like illustrations of wooded valleys, rocky shores and mountain ranges shaped by rivers. Small leather goods include the image of a picnic basket nestled within the scenery.

Among the more playful additions is the Picnic Keepall 45, designed to resemble a woven basket and finished with side pockets and an apple-shaped leather identification tag. A new LV Louis Bear bag charm arrives carrying a miniature picnic basket lined with Monogram canvas and filled with tiny food items.

Footwear introduces a more rugged dimension to the collection.

The LV City Ranger is available as both a combat boot and derby shoe, made in calf leather or suede. Its details include a padded, Monogram-embossed ankle collar, Monogram Flower-shaped lacing hooks and patterned tread.

The bulkier LV Remix Ranger Boot features a heavy-duty rubber outsole and cotton panels carrying the Transversal Monogram Surplus pattern. Contrasting stitching strengthens its utilitarian character.

Louis Vuitton has also revived two established footwear designs. The skate-inspired LV Tilted returns with a gingham upper incorporating the Monogram Flower, while retaining its Damier-embossed rubber toe cap.

The vintage basketball-inspired LV Trainer appears in Bordeaux suede and leather, decorated with patent-leather Monogram Flower charms. Another version combines olive-green cotton canvas with chocolate-brown calf leather.

The capsule’s focus on what the fashion house calls “utilitarian nomadism” extends to a new range of Transversal Monogram Surplus travel bags. The treatment is applied to established Louis Vuitton designs including the Speedy 30, Jet Lag Bag, Steamer, Keepall 50, Locker Dopp Kit, Horizon 55 and Christopher East West.

Made from soft cotton jacquard, the bags feature topstitched leather patches, straps, belt buckles and cargo pockets. Each thread in the textile blend is individually dyed and woven to create a precise Monogram jacquard that becomes visible only after heat is applied.

The material is then specially washed for a softer finish and treated to repel water — completing a collection that seeks to make luxury dressing ready for both a genteel picnic and the sudden arrival of rain.
