A memorial service for 24-year-old slain Kaizer Chiefs player Luke Fleurs held at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg yesterday was a sombre affair punctuated by rousing tributes to a rising star gone too soon. Fleurs was killed during a hijacking last week by armed men at a petrol station in Honeydew, west of Johannesburg, while waiting to be served by the petrol attendant. Police have confirmed the arrest of six suspects, who appeared in the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court this morning. PHOTOS: Sipho Maluka
